• The 2nd bell (8:20AM) indicates that the student is considered tardy if they are not in their seat

New Pick Up Procedure

In an effort to keep traffic flowing and maintain an orderly pick up, the following new procedures have been developed. 

Students in grades 1-3 will be dismissed at 2:25. Their teachers will walk students to their designated areas where they will drop their bags. Students will be able to play on the play structures and blacktop, but we ask that the students stay away from Rooms 1 and 2 as instruction continues until 2:55. At 2:40, a teacher will join Mrs. Byrd on duty and ask the students to be seated at their designated spots. Parents of 1st through 3rd grade students, will pick their children up between 2:25 and 2:45. If family's have upper grade students and want to get here early, they need to park their car. We cannot have the line backed up with cars waiting in the front for their upper grade children. Students will raise their hands when they see their parents and the teacher on duty will call them to their car. 

Upper grade students are released at 2:55 and they will sit in their designated areas. Again, parents will come up the drive, and when their child sees their ride, they will indicate with a raised hand, and the teacher will call them to the car. 

Fridays ALL students (with the exception of Kindergarten who are dismissed at 12:15 pm) are released at 12:45. They will be seated in their designated areas and raise their hands when they see their ride and the teacher will call them to the car.

If families want to park and then play after the cars have left, we invite you to do that, however, we cannot have children play while the other students are sitting and waiting for their cars.
